Would Make a Plate Full
The oyster in question is not the one pictured above, but what could be the largest ever to be caught in British waters has been landed by a Shetland boat, the Fidelitas. The size was around 8", the weight some 2.5 lbs and the age of the creature has yet to be determined, although it could be decades old.
