At the end of a long road, at either end of the Uists, there will be a radio mast. From next Autumn they will be broadcasting programmes, 20% of which are scheduled to be in Gaelic, to the communities of Berneray, Baleshare, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist and Eriskay. Details of An Reidio (The Radio) indicate that some 60 volunteers will be required.
