Here They Come
Last week there was a report of a lone Basking shark off the Summer Isles. Yesterday came the news that there were some 25 sharks and a pod of 15 Minke whales off Galen Head in north-west Lewis. They were spotted from the Seatrek craft carrying would-be wildlife watchers. Copious supplies of plankton had attracted and pleased the marine creatures which, in turn, attracted and delighted the observers. A case of satisfaction all round!
