This photograph of a wave hitting
Rockall with full force was taken in March 1943. Comparable ones have been evident since then, including the last few days during
Nick Hancock's stay - he is 28 days into his 60 planned - on the islet. Four barrels of rations were wrenched from their secure positions and cast out to sea. He remained safe in his RockPod. The details are in a
