Take the spinal route south out of Stornoway on the road to Harris, go through the four-mile long Balallan and at the junction take the left-hand turning towards the South Lochs. Within a relatively-short distance you will be at Shieldinish and its main building, the Loch Erisort Inn. Stop for a meal or a drink.
