There will be an opportunity to view screenings of some of the work of pioneer film-maker, Jenny Gilbertson (1902 -90) at Shetland venues on Sunday and Thursday of next week. She focused her attention on 'Northern Outposts' - from Shetland to the tundra areas of Canada. An assignment at Grisefiord, 900 miles into the Arctic Circle, was undertaken by her, aged 76.
