A new book, Shetland's Whaling Tradition - From Willafjord to Enderby Land, by Laureen Johnson is being launched this weekend. The development of the now defunct industry led to whaling stations, such as the one at Ronas Voe, pictured above, being set up locally as well as Shetlanders pursuing their trade worldwide.
