Bronze Age Back
You can sense the timeless appeal of Tresness, Sanday, in the Orkney group. People have not changed significantly in their outlook as recent surprise researches have discovered.
Archaeologists walking out to a far part of the beach almost stumbled over the remains of 14 houses in a Bronze Age settlement dating back to the second millennium BC.
