Monday is Super Moonday
You may not be lying in a boat watching for the Moon to rise at 16.26 (GMT) today, but it could well be worth looking up for the Moon will be at its closest to Earth for 70 years. Details are in The Orcadian and on the BBC. The latter recommends 23.21 for viewing. Miss it and the wait for the next comparable event - another 'Super Moon' - is 25 November 2034.
