Island Views

The route designated the North Coast 500 starts and finishes in Inverness and, technically, takes in only one island, the Black Isle, on its way around Wester Ross, Caithness and Sutherland. However, this High Road affords views of a significant number of places in the Highlands & Islands covered by Scottish Islands Explorer. Read about the appeal of the way around the shores of the north and over the Kylesku Bridge (above) on the BBC website.
