A Grand a Week?
There were two children at the Primary School on Foula, Shetland. One is off to High School in Lerwick next term and so the number drops by 50%. Almost £50k is the salary of the head teacher whose job has been advertised recently. That's about £1k a week, including three months holiday a year, rental accommodation available and one pupil to teach for the foreseeable future Nice work if you can get it! The BBC has the details.
Scottish Islands Explorer - nice read when you get it
