Rum has many natural attributes, but few islands in the world have anything resembling the innovative former home and pleasure palace of the Bullough family, Kinloch Castle. Its upkeep is horrifically high, but plans are in hand to keep it preserved for future generations to enjoy. Read The Times article published yesterday.
