Sanday School
The two figures on the school sign represent half the number of pupils who, in the last school-year, attended the primary school on Sanday, serving Canna on the Small Isles. Now all four children from one family have gone and the school has been 'mothballed'. There are just 17 people residing on Canna and Sanday. Quite an opportunity for schooling with a difference.
