We need to go back to 11 May 2011 when I started this daily blog. I indicated then that I had been visiting the Scottish islands for some 25 years and writing for Scottish Islands Explorer for eight. Now I have owned and edited the magazine for eight years and produced, so far, 2468 items on consecutive days. Yesterday marked one million visits to the blog since that day in '11. Onwards and upwards ... like the aircraft using Barra Airport.
