Of the 93 inhabited islands of Scotland, Colonsay, in the Inner Hebrides has, apparently, the highest number of return visitors per head of population. However, its latest product, gin, will mainly be travelling one-way - to hotels and homes, bars and trolleys throughout the world. The co-founders of Wild Thyme Spirits, Fin and Eileen Geekie, moved from Oxfordshire to their self-build home on Colonsay in 2016.
