Marine Surveys


Here is part of the Rosemary Bank Seamount, an extinct, now underwater, volcano 3281ft high, found off the Western Isles to the north-east of the Rockall Trough. Scientists are preparing to survey this and other sites in the vicinity and what they look forward to discovering is revealed on the BBC website.
