Rockall receives its occasional visitors, but for the most part - particularly during the winter months - is seldom seen. An article in The Guardian by Fraser MacDonald puts interest in the islet into context - from individual efforts to stop, stare and, even, stay to its being the last piece of land to be incorporated into the empire that's British.
