The Hillswick Animal Sanctuary, Shetland, is lined up to receive half-a-million-pounds for upgrading its facilities. Look into the acquisition of funding from two major sources through The Press and Journal. The Sanctuary was founded in 1987 when Jan Bevington, who continues to run the organisation with her husband, discovered an abandoned seal on the beach at Hillswick.
