One of the 'Routes to the Isles' involves taking the Skye Bridge and crossing the island to the ferry terminal at Uig. Filling up with food and petrol is a long-standing tradition that has been hampered by the temporary closure of the full fuel services at the Broadford Co-op. Now, after a £3.5 million refurbishment programme, the pumps and store are completely ready for custom. At Portree (below) is the larger Co-operative supermarket.
