Wherever you look on Islay there seems to be a sign to a distillery. However, yesterday on Facebook I suggested that there were 'more than a dozen distilleries' and was taken to task by a watcher. I had based my assumption on a conversation the day before. When I checked earlier today on the Islay web-page, I discovered the number to be somewhat lower. Apologies for exciting prospective visitors.
