Rockall - 34 Years Ago


The nearest permanently inhabited settlement to Rockall is on North Uist, some 230miles to the east. The granite islet has drawn adventurers and at this time of the year, from 26 May - 4 July, in 1985 it was occupied by Tom McClean. Just take a look at the YouTube clip to understand what a remarkable person he was.
