There has been a very good progress report on Hallaig for the past 12 months in Paul's blog - Life at the end of the road. Paul lives at the remote north end of Raasay and works as an engineer for Calmac, now on Hallaig. He tells us that the initial problems were software issues in the vessels controls, which are now rectified. It was you, John, who first alerted us to Paul's blog and I thoroughly recommend it for an insight to island life. Not as regular as your own blog, but very good indeed.
