View Old & New
People have, since windows first appeared in houses, enjoyed the views. Take a look at two contrasting ones. Above is the Skye Window House, situated on the Sleat Peninsula in the south-east of the island, while below is a ruin on a beach of South Ronaldsay where a photographer's work has been short-listed for an appropriately-named competition, featured in The Orcadian.
