A Seaweed Tonic


A carrageen seaweed pudding helped during a process that led to creating a distinctive gin on the island of Barra. Follow what happened from an item in the Stornoway Gazette. It's also in order to raise a glass to this, the 2,500th consecutive daily blog item. The series is now almost seven years old, having taken longer to distil than whisky, four years minimum, compared with gin-making, four days!
