The walrus, photographed here by Russell Neave, was spotted off North Ronaldsay, Orkney, earlier this month and featured in the blog on Saturday 10 March. Now sightings have occurred off Dunnet Head, Caithness, and 30 miles west of Thurso at Armadale, Sutherland. Is Wally heading for the Western Isles? An account of his trail is on the BBC website.
