Amnesty on Arran


These canisters can help save lives, but with time become dangerous and illegal. The Arran Coastguards called an amnesty to collect unused and out-of-date marine pyrotechnics. They arrived in significant numbers and were disposed of last weekend. Here's what happened as depicted quite dramatically by The Press and Journal.
