Getting Around
The Arctic walrus seen off the Orkney islands of North Ronaldsay and Sanday in March, followed by shoreline sightings off Caithness and Sutherland, has been photographed, by Neil Morrison, on Harris. He has lost weight, but has travelled successfully from the Northern to the Western Isles. 'Wally' and his kind are rare visitors - for the last was spotted in 1954.
