Buildings in Style
Some people have the knack and resources that lead to large constructions. Walter Douglas Campbell, great-grandfather of the Duke of Argyll, built this house on his island, Innis Chonain, situated in Loch Awe. Nearby he created St Conan's Kirk - in an eclectic mix of church-styles - which is memorably described and illustrated in a blog called Big Daddy Dave.
