The views from Unst - Hermaness (above) and Woodwick (below) - are fit for an island above all others in the British Isles. Now that the UK spaceport project is to be developed in Sutherland, at the top end of the Mainland, the company behind the comparable Unst scheme is to link with the Shetland Islands Council and Lockheed Martin, one of the world's largest aerospace companies, to develop a satellite tracking and communications centre on the island.
