Blackbird, Hello
Where better could the red-winged blackbird have chosen to enter Europe for its first sighting than North Ronaldsay, Orkney? The island has a long-established bird observatory, an airstrip and chartered aircraft available for both bird-watchers and 'twitchers' ready to see this North American resident that crossed the Atlantic. Follow the event on the BBC website.
