This empty fire station is on Foula. The appliance must have been out on action, of some sorts. A recent report has placed the stations at Sleat on Skye, Flotta on Orkney, Out Skerries and Foula on Shetland in what can only be termed as 'a difficult position'. The BBC carries the story.
