There are many reasons why walking in Unst, Shetland, is so attractive. There are numerous vistas, more Viking sites than in any comparable area of Europe, 420 million years of geological evolution, 60 miles of coastline, 10 beaches and 19 hours of daylight per day at around Midsummer.
