Black and White
There is something compelling about the Islay Blog image of a moonlit Machir Bay. It's a reminder of how we are now in that darkest phase of the year which, in under 20 days time, will begin to fade out. The first image in Islay's re-launched photo gallery is the comparable photograph, below, of a moody Machir Bay on a November morning. We will try to move from dark to light during the course of the forthcoming week on the Scottish Islands Explorer blog.
