Resting on the Sabbath

This photograph of a seal in a restful and playful mood, swimming in Loch ba Greagorry, South Uist, was taken by Shelagh Davies, of Lochboisdale, and was selected by the Stornoway Gazette for their weekly feature. On a pre-Christmas Sunday when many humans are striving to shop in parts of the UK, it's good to see, on the Sabbath, an animal relaxing in the Outer Hebrides.
